Competency Check Flight: Complete a standard aircraft differences/familiarisation check with a grade-rated instructor, affiliated with an approved ATO (per SACAA CAR 61 currency guidelines).

Any pilot holding a valid SACAA-issued (or SACAA-validated foreign) Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with the appropriate class or type of aircraft.
The pilot must meet the currency requirements of SACAA CAR Part 61(including a valid Class 1 or Class 2 Medical Certificate).

Yes. Student pilots holding a valid, Student Pilot License (SPL) and current Class 2 Medical may hire our aircraft, provided the flight is:
Authorized and signed off by a flight school (ATO) Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) or delegated flight instructor.
Conducted strictly under the operational control of an approved Part 141 Aviation Training Organisation (ATO).

Reservations: Secure your aircraft via our online member portal.
Dispatch: Present your pilot logbook and license at the operations desk with an approved ATO. (CAR 91.03.1).
Return: Complete the post-flight inspection, log the final Hobbs/Tach times, report any defects in the flight log, and return the keys.

To comply with SACAA regulations and our hull insurance, you must present:
Valid SACAA Pilot License (with current revalidation/flight review stamp).
Valid Class 1 or Class 2 Aviation Medical Certificate.
Valid English Language Proficiency rating (Level 4 or higher).Up-to-date logbook proving CAR 61 recency (e.g., 3 take-offs and landings within the last 90 days for carrying passengers).
Completed and signed dual check flight in our specific aircraft type.
